SADDLE RIVER, NEW JERSEY
Sophisticated Home Interior Design + Renovation in Saddle River, NJ
OLD WORLD MEETS NEW WORLD IN SADDLE RIVER.
This Tudor style home was built in 1981 and in desperate need of a revamp. The biggest challenge was allowing more natural light to enter each room without removing any walls. The home had timeless architectural features such as the original wrought iron stair rail, French doors, and large open hallways with stone floors throughout. A perfect example of how old and new styles can be combined to create a clean and contemporary look. All walls and existing casework were painted white, and rich dark furniture pieces were chosen to contrast the light walls. Culture and family were important to our clients. Large open spaces where family can gather were created with special thought, and a color harmony that represented their roots were present in the fabrics, artwork, and décor. A perfect equation to breathe life back into this home!
THE HEART OF THE HOME is in the open concept living area. Oversized lush white sofas are placed in front of floor to ceiling windows to ground each space, and are paired with luxurious blue chairs and dark woods. Each allowing for formal and informal seating and conversations. This selection of textures and color patterns were carefully chosen to create a layered effect. Soft flowing window treatments were installed to add softness to the space.
